Role Overview:
As a Social Media and Community Manager Intern, you will play a key role in enhancing LuxCitizenship.com’s online presence. You will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, engaging with our community, and creating content that resonates with our audience. You are keen to learn and grow within the professional social media realm, especially Linkedin. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, and building a digital-first international organization from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for LuxCitizenship.com’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor news in Luxembourg and social media platforms for trends and emerging topics relevant to our audience.
- Grow our (engaged) following, especially on Linkedin.
- Analyze and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize content and engagement strategies.
- Community Engagement:
- Help us build the strategy to turn our firm into a true community-based organization.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere across all social media platforms.
- Develop and assist with community-building initiatives, such as online and offline events, Q&A sessions, and member spotlights.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the team to produce compelling multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
- Assist in the development of content calendars and campaign strategies.
- Stay updated on best practices in social media, digital marketing, and community management.
- Brand Advocacy:
- Act as a brand ambassador for LuxCitizenship.com, ensuring all content aligns with our mission and values.
- Identify opportunities to amplify our brand voice and presence within relevant online communities and forums.
Requirements:
- Passion for social media, digital marketing, and community building.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in Luxembourg, Europe, international relations, building a community, not-for-profits a real plus.
- Some knowledge of French, Luxembourgish, Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a great asset.
