🇱🇺🇦🇷 In 1987, Mme Alicia Staus won a trip from Luxembourg to South America. Little did she know, this trip would spark the creation of Hëllef Fir Rosario, an incredible initiative connecting Luxembourgish families with schoolchildren in need in Rosario, Argentina.

What started as Luxembourgish families sponsoring the schooling of individual children in Rosario, Argentina grew over the years. Casa de Luxemburgo offers a range of social and educational services, including a social services office, an early childhood daycare, a vocational training center, a residential support facility, and a library and youth club across 5 physical locations (“casas”). These programs are designed to provide comprehensive support for individuals and families in need, fostering development, social integration, and personal growth.

In 2017, the Luxembourgish financial participation was taken over by Terre des hommes Luxembourg asbl and the Luxembourgish’s government’s office for development cooperation. Our team visited during our filming of our documentary film project “Lëtzebuerger an Argentinien”. To learn more about AMAP Casa de Luxemburgo, https://www.amaprosario.org/
